Is this game free to download?

Asphalt 9: Legends is free to download and offers an exhilarating racing experience without any initial cost. You can enjoy stunning graphics, thrilling races, and diverse tracks without making any obligatory payments. However, it's important to note that the game includes in-app purchases which allow players to enhance their gaming experience by acquiring extra cars, blueprints, in-game currency, and other upgrades. These purchases are optional, meaning you can advance in the game without them, but they can speed up progress or provide exclusive content.

The game also features advertisements, although they're generally integrated into the gameplay experience in a non-intrusive manner. Occasionally, you may encounter ads when earning rewards or unlocking content; however, they can often be skipped or closed relatively quickly. Alongside in-app purchases, Asphalt 9 offers a premium subscription service called the “Asphalt Pass,” granting additional benefits and rewards for dedicated players looking for an edge in their racing endeavors.

How do I play this game? (Basic Controls & Rules)

Step 1: When you first open Asphalt 9: Legends, you'll be guided through an introductory race to familiarize yourself with the basic controls and gameplay mechanics. The game uses touchdrive as a start, which primarily automates steering, letting you focus on timing nitro boosts and choosing routes.

Step 2: After your initial race, you'll find yourself in the main menu. There, you can explore various game modes such as Career, Multiplayer, and Events. Start with the Career mode; it's a great way to earn rewards and unlock cars.

Step 3: Select your first car and begin participating in races. Use the control settings to customize your driving method. While touchdrive simplifies control, you can switch to more manual options for precise steering.

Step 4: Pay attention to your car's nitro as it significantly impacts speed and performance. Nitro can be activated with a simple tap on the screen and can be refilled by performing stunts or collecting nitro bottles scattered on tracks.

Step 5: As you advance, focus on upgrading your cars by using blueprints and tokens. These upgrades will improve speed, acceleration, and handling, giving you a better chance in challenging races. Engage in daily events and multiplayer races to gain more rewards and enhance your skills.

Advanced Gameplay Tips and Strategies

Tip 1: Mastering the nitro mechanics is essential. Learn how to use shockwave nitro for maximum speed by double-tapping the screen when your nitro gauge is full. This can make a decisive difference in close races.

Tip 2: In Career mode, prioritize obtaining blueprints for higher-tier cars. This will provide you access to more competitive vehicles, enhancing your racing capabilities as you progress through the leagues.

Tip 3: Experiment with control schemes. While touchdrive is useful for beginners, manual controls offer more precision and can lead to better results once you're comfortable navigating via the game's interfaces. Customize sensitivity settings to match your play style.
